“An AR Sampler” contains a number of test and training resources applicable to day-to-day clinical work in speech pathology and audiology. The material is useful for both older children and adults with severe to profound hearing losses. “An AR Sampler” contains 8 different testing and training resources: consonant lists, Contentest, high frequency word lists, most frequent CVC lists, most frequent sentences lists, poems for younger children, poems for older children and a modified Speech Tracking story.
An AR Sampler comes as a CD with instructions.

| The Mu.S.I.C Test - A music perception test battery |

Musical Sounds in Cochlear Implants is a scientifically developed tool, originally written to assess music perception in cochlear implant users, but can be used by anybody. “The Mu.S.I.C. Test” is an instrument based test, with specially composed pieces for certain of the subtests. The test is comprised of eight subtests. Six modules assess specific musical skills, whilst two are subjective tests. The following modules are available on the “The Mu.S.I.C. Test” DVD: Pitch, Rhythm, Melody, Distinguish chords, What instrument, Number of instruments, Emotional Perception and Dissonance.
The Mu.S.I.C. Test comes as a CD containing the manual in pdf format and a DVD.

The Munich Music Questionnaire |

The Munich Music Questionnaire (MUMU) is a research-based, validated tool consisting of 25 questions which assess the music listening habits of people with post-lingual deafness before and after cochlear implantation. The questionnaire is intended to supply clinicians with useful information on: the past and current role of music in clients’ lives as well as several other aspects of music appreciation/participation with a cochlear implant. The MUMU was developed by Prof. Dr. S.J. Brockmeier in Munich, Germany.
