As part of the Vibrant Soundbridge, the Amadé audio processor is designed to treat people with mild to severe sensorineural hearing loss as well as conductive and mixed hearing losses. The Amadé audio processor not only incorporates the benefits from the previous model but now also offers the user the latest hearing technology, along with several new features.

The Amadé offers the choice of three different programs, which can be adapted for different listening situations. By simply using the push button, the user can switch between programs effortlessly. The feature of dual microphone technology with directional mode gives the comfort of reducing noise interference from the back and from the side.
Amadé users can profit from intelligent technology. The Amadé constantly monitors the environment for wind noise, which, when detected is automatically softened and allows improved hearing comfort. Loud or unexpected noises are isolated and reduced without interfering with the speech signal. The Amadé also distinguishes between speech and background noise and lets the user enjoy communicating in a wide range of situations.
The Amadé features a whole new ergonomic housing design which is available in four different colours, providing the best option to match the hair colour of each patient. The Amadé is available for both new and existing Soundbridge users.
Geoffrey Ball, scientist and inventor of the Vibrant Soundbridge is himself implanted bilaterally with the system. He has over 30 years of medical device industry experience and constantly focuses on innovations to improve hearing sensations for people with impaired hearing.
“With the Amadé we made a step forward into a new generation of audio processors. Following an intensive development process the user can now profit from advanced technology and additional features with the Amadé. From a patient’s point of view, the program switch which we have now is terrific. Easy to use and has a great feel like the rest of the new audio processor.”
